Funded by state and local bonds, with additional support from the Los Rios Community College District and donations to the Folsom Lake
College Foundation, the new performing arts center will host over 400
events annually.
Performances have begun. The presenting program will bring touring artists from all over the world; be a partner to some of the finest local
and regional companies in dance,
music, and theater; and, deepen the educational experience of Folsom Lake College, giving students and
faculty a facility in which to develop their craft and present it to family, friends, and community.

Responsibilities:
Under general direction, drafts and tracks execution of Artist Performance Agreements and Deal Memos
in accordance with established standards, serving as a liaison with artists, booking agents and artist management; reviews and provides
initial mark-up of artist supplied contracts to assure appropriateness of, and compliance with, terms for both parties; ensures all
tax-related forms (Federal and State) are completed and submitted by artists to allow proper and timely payment and withholdings; prepare
requisition requests and other related paperwork for deposits and payments as specified in the Memos and Agreements. Assist with the
distribution of artist-related event information for presentations, including specific artist needs, technical and hospitality riders,
merchandise details, security requirements and marketing/press materials to the appropriate departments. Utilizes the Center's electronic
venue management system and other software. Coordinates artist needs related to Three Stages Presentations including, but not limited to,
transportation, accommodations and hospitality. May act as a primary contact with artists and artist management on the day of the event.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree, and three or more years of related work experience
in the performing arts or related live entertainment industry; OR an Associate's degree and two additional years of experience (total of
five years experience); OR five additional years of relevant experience (for a total of eight years experience).
Have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community
college students.
(Experience Requirement: One year of experience is equal to 12 months of experience at a maximum of 40 hours per week. Education
Requirement: 12 units are equal to six months of education; 24 units are equal to one year of education.)

TRANSCRIPTS:
- Individuals who have completed colleges or
university course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts,
degrees and other relevant documents. A foreign transcript evaluation is required any time foreign course work is used to meet minimum
qualifications even if the foreign transcript has been accepted by a college or university in the United States.
- Graduate advising
documents and grade reports will not be accepted as unofficial transcripts.
- It is the responsibility of Los Rios CCD employees to
provide transcripts for the application process, if required by position.
Other/Desired Skills:
Knowledge of:
- Live performing arts or entertainment event management
- Live performing arts or entertainment event production and/or
presentation
- Contract preparation and administration
Ability to:
Read, write and comprehend artist contracts and other
related business documents; communicate effectively orally and in writing, in English; pay attention to, keep track of and address contract
and event-related details; problem solve; identify, understand and strategically attend to the longer term logistical and financial
implications of agreement terms; establish and maintain smooth and effective working relationships with both internal and external
colleagues; work independently; work methodically, efficiently and effectively; carry out instructions; coordinate and prioritize multiple
projects within time constraints and a deadline-driven environment; proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite; represent Three Stages, Folsom
Lake College and the Los Rios Community College District in a professional manner.
Conditions:
Job Offer Requirements: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful clearance from a criminal
background check, freedom from tuberculosis, and proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States prior to the first day of
work. The District may select additional qualified candidates should unexpected vacancies or needs occur during this recruitment/selection
process.

NOTE: This is a temporary classified position.
Temporary classified positions are limited to 110 work days per fiscal year.
