My client is a leading international mining group headquartered in Ireland whose business is mining and processing mineral resources. At present, their operation in the coastal town of Moma, Mozambique is rapidly expanding and are looking for a Senior geologist to join the team

The role is a supportive role to the manager Technical Mining and is the official 2IC for the Technical Mining Department, and some of the duties will include:
To support operations and management of Kenmare’s Moma project by providing production plans and forecasts, development and assessment of mining options and survey services to mining operations. Evaluation of geological data and resource information
Evaluation and interpretation of the Geological model and the preparation of an optimised Mine plan and mining sequence, 
Providing support for mining operations to deliver timely and accurate mine plans and schedules.
Support the company initiatives in promoting the development of Mozambicans in terms of the company localisation program as well as to mentor various protégé’s that may be nominated to you by the company.If you hold an appropriate degree in Geology and you have at least 10 years experience in the mining industry involving Geological data modeling and and mine planning, drop me a mail at stefdb@iafrica.com or call me on +27824549168.
