Senior Business Analyst required to join our client in Shannon on a 12 month contract.  Our client, a Global Financial services organisation, is looking for a Business Analyst who will act as a liaison between the internal business community and the IT organization in order to provide business solutions to meet user needs particularly in the Finance area
The Role:

Gather information about business processes and information flows.
Document existing processes to evaluate and define new system solutions and implementation processes. 
Possess an understanding of technological and business trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business groups.
Translate high-level, complex business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manages changes requests and business. 
Work closely with Senior management team on development and implementation of new projects inline with overall business strategy.
Be the main point of contact for the corporate application delivery function.
Ability to manage and projects running concurrently, including research, analysis, documentation, design, testing, implementation, roll out - reviews and reporting and all within budget.
Responsibility for not only developing new processes and procedures but reviewing existing to improve efficiencies and drive those changes.
Be a positive team player and offer practical and workable solutions to issues.

Qualifications:

5-10 years business experience required, especially in the fields of IT, accounting and Finance
Bachelor's Degree Required
Accounting Qualification and/or Masters Degree desired
Experience working with Oracle R12, including GL, AP, PO, FA, AR, AP, Cash Management
Must have experience working on ERP implementations.
Working knowledge of multiple applications / technologies and ERP implementation experience
Understanding of multiple IT project methodologies and benefits of each.
Will have worked with Hyperion and Oracle R12
3 to 5 years leadership experience a plus
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage to project milestones and deliverables
Detail-oriented and ability to work well under time constraints and with multiple projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
