Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for making and implementing safety policies and procedures.
Responsible for following up and advising on any HSE issues, associated standards and practices.
Monitor and ensure implementation of Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental requirements as per ISO standards/guidelines.
Assuring provision & use of safety gadgets at the work places.
Ensuring that Safety signs are prepared and displayed.
Deliver Health, Safety & Environment training to the workforce.
Ensure Fire Fighting equipments are in place at fire-prone areas and bear essential safety & usage.
Be able to plan corrective/ preventive actions.
Develop & Implement Safety policies, systems, and procedures.
Develop & administer the key HSE performance indicators.
Liaise with the clients, consultants and manage all HSE issues.
Perform HSE Audits and Inspections.
Identify & conduct Safety training programs.
Monitor and ensure strict compliance with Civil Defense safety policies.
Carry out risk assessment for all hazardous operations in the work site.
Analyze accident/ incident reports.
Be able to conduct safety meetings periodically with the representatives from other Departments in order to debate all safety issues and submit the minutes of the meeting to the Top Management.
