At Hearty Platter, you dont just have a boring job standing around waiting for the next order or the next customer to walk in the door. Our average customer count is between 3500 and 4000 per week, so we keep you moving Our Hearty Platter Line Cooks are responsible for providing our guests with high quality food products while maintaining high sanitation standards in an extremely fast paced environment. Line Cooks preparing food for the buffet, prepare meals for customers to order, as well as perform other general cleaning, stocking and prep work duties. This location currently has a Line Cook opening. The work schedule is: Part:time all shifts available.
Proven ability to operate a grill, fryer, slicer, and other appliances as necessary for the position. Ability to read and understand numbers and recipes, set priorities, organize work, have an understanding of safe food handling procedures, and have ability to work in high stress team atmosphere. Candidates must be available to work during evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Physical Requirements: ability to stand/walk throughout shift; ability to lift 10 lbs frequently, 20lbs regularly; and up to 40 lbs occasionally, reach over head; bend, squat, twist and reach; grasp, pinch, and grip, work in a warm environment.
