Financial Controller with French - United States

Our Client, a growing and ambitious MNC with a small but important Irish operation, are seeking an experienced financial accountant, with French language skills, to take on a Financial controller role. Reporting to the COO and managing a team of 2 people you will have responsibility for reporting to a French HQ for 3 Irish entities including the following:

Monthly management accounts and financial accounts for statutory reporting and annual audit.
Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and analysis
Management of the AP and AR functions, leading a team of 2 people
Working in partnership with COO so as to identify and implement improvements to the financial administrative process and financial reporting
General administration functions as required by an SME business

The ideal candidate will be:

A qualified accountant with 3-5 years experience as financial controller/company accountant in a small BU of a multinational business.
Strongly conversant in French - fluency is not a necessity but strong practical knowledge is a must
Experience using Sage L50 is an advantage

This role will suit a strong accountant with the ability to add value to a growing business
