Infinix for its client is looking for Senior Data Architect, below are the details:

Candidates MUST have 8 years experience

--Candidates MUST have 8 years experience
-4-5 years minimum in a data architect role
-3-6 years playing a large role in the implementation of enterprise systems

PLEASE NOTE SCHEDULE

July September (3 months) full time (480 hours)
and October December (3 months) part time (about 200 hours). (We are checking if this part-time part can
be done off hours or at home)

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Responsibilities:

The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and developing Data Architectures for the CFB
application. Responsibilities will include ensuring that the data architecture is optimized for the most
efficient and effective use for multiple systems. The DA will be responsible for developing, maintaining,
and documenting standards and data architecture; also, the DA will participate in gathering requirements
and translating them into robust data models. The DA will work closely with the Application Architect,
Technical Lead, and Project Management to identify technical approaches for systems as well as
determine timelines for implementation. Additionally, the DA will follow best industry practices as well as
DoITT guidelines to ensure the highest quality of systems.

Deliverables:

Application Architecture/Detailed System Design: Database architecture and conversion designs
Data Dictionary for the CFB application
Extensible Data Model for the CFB application
ERD Schema

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be
considered.

The candidate should have demonstrated broad technical knowledge of data architectures and strong
understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle and methodologies. The candidate must have at
least 8 years experience with information management technologies such as data warehousing, data
mining, data profiling and extraction, business intelligence, and application portals. Strong knowledge of
OO design patterns and web architectures is required. Candidate must have experience with Oracle 9.x or
higher. This includes construction of databases and use of PL/SQL. XML knowledge is required for the
position. The candidate will have strong communication skills both verbal and written. A proven
background in the implementation and integration of large scale and complex systems is a must. Use of
UML and ERD modeling tools is a plus as well as knowledge of Java.

Excellent oral and written skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Prior government (NYC preferred) experience implementing web based applications.
