Job Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
* Writing Same:Day Analysis articles on political, security and wider business environment developments in the region, including long in:depth pieces and shorter In:Brief articles
* Setting Country Risk/Sovereign Risk Ratings and providing analytical justification
* The production and update of Global Insights detailed background country reports
* Response to ad hoc client requests and questions, and provide after:sales client support
* Potential media work (TV, radio, print)
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
* A postgraduate university degree in a subject directly related to the European region
* In:depth understanding of the region, relevant work experience desirable
* Knowledge of languages relevant to the region preferable, but not essential
* Sound knowledge of Excel, Word, and other major software
* Strong writing and presentation skills
* The ability to work to tight deadlines, and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required
